CALIBRATION, DIRECT VERIFICATION & REPAIR

GET YOUR KING PORTABLE BRINELL TESTER DIRECTLY VERIFIED TODAY

King Tester is certified under ISO-17025 as an accredited laboratory from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) for Direct Verification. Direct Verification is required per ASTM E-10 standards for all portable testers. Calibration must be done on an annual basis.

YOUR CALIBRATION SERVICE INCLUDES:

  • A full inspection of your Brinell Portable Test Head, disassembly, replace sac, cap, ball and oil change.
  • Both direct and indirect certification to ASTM E-10 standards for your King Portable test head
  • A calibration certificate for your records
NOTE: To save money on your shipping costs, please do not send your test head base when shipping your Brinell Test Head for calibration unless repairs to your base are necessary.

When your tester is sent in for repair, King Tester will automatically give you an estimate for repair. If requested, King Tester will evaluate the unit for a discounted upgrade.

*Every evaluation and estimate is special to each tester. No two evaluations and estimates are the same. King Tester Corporation reserves the right to establish the trade-in value based on the condition of the tester as received.

SERVICE REQUEST FORM

​We will not provide a cost estimate without evaluating the unit first.

No work is done on any unit until we receive approval and a purchase order. If the unit cannot be repaired, or you choose not to repair it and you do not replace it with a new unit, you will be charged a fixed service fee of $125.00* plus any S&H for evaluating the unit.

Please note that when units are repaired they will also be calibrated and certified. No repaired units may leave King Tester Corporation without being calibrated. The price for this service will be included in the estimate.

LOANER PROGRAM

​If you require any loaner equipment while your product is being serviced, please reference what you need in your request.

It is at our sole discretion to reuse the packaging you used to ship your unit in for repairs. We will not be responsible for the return of your packaging materials unless we deem it advisable to reuse them.
