How It Works

Simple 4-Step Brinell Testing

The KING Chain Adapter makes it easy to perform full-load Brinell hardness tests on large cylindrical parts—right on-site, with speed and precision.

Wrap the Chain

Secure the chain around the part and attach it to the Chain Adapter.

Position the Test Head

Align the test head and ensure proper surface contact.

Apply the 3000 kgf Load

Use the KING Portable Brinell Tester to create the indentation.

Measure & Read the BHN

Measure the indentation and determine the Brinell Hardness Number.
