Test anywhere on your part with KingPin hand-held Brinell testers. The KingPin testers provide an economical, fast and accurate means of testing. By applying force, the pin regulates the force on the indenter and the indenter makes the impression on the surface with a force determined by the calibrated pins, which shear at 1580 kgf. The diameter of the resulting indentation is measured using a conventional Brinell microscope.

Pins of various load accuracies are available:

• Certified: Individually marked and fully traceable to the national standard, less than 0.5% tolerance. Available in bags of 100 pins
• Standard: Less than 1% tolerance. Available in bags of 250 pins

• Type A: Uses a c-clamp style holder for the pin. Provides controlled testing, especially suitable for castings. The screw system allows immediate load application.
  Type B: Uses a pin holder and indenter for testing. Ideal for hard-to-reach areas. Loading is independent of the operator.
